Course Description

The object of this webinar presentation is to discuss the different ways in which to accomplish a digital denture. We will first discuss traditional analog processes and workflows compared to digital processes. We will then discuss data acquisition and clinical steps for a digital denture process. I will demonstrate design of a monolithic try in and a two piece denture with a pink base and tooth shaded teeth. Finally we will discuss the different manufacturing options and the pros and cons of each.

About Presenter

Dr. Ben Kellum grew up in Tupelo, Mississippi. After graduating from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, he went on to get his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Kellum completed a 1 Year AEGD residency program in Pocatello, Idaho focused on comprehensive implant planning and treatment. Dr. Kellum spent several years in private practice at a full arch denture and implant clinic and then transitioned full-time to Program Director of The Foundry Dental AEGD residency Program in Birmingham Alabama. Dr. Kellum now is Co-owner of Transcend Dental Education, a CE facility in Huntsville Alabama, and Transcend Digital Dental Lab, a digital lab focused on design and fabrication of surgical guides, full arch guides and restorations, and digital dentures.
